Tangerine Green by PhillymanPete This shot is from my original foray with a pair of Prothonotary Warblers. I went back for a second foray, but that is a story for another day. These warblers have the most striking and unique yellow that I have ever seen on a bird; “tangerine” yellow. The forest is very lush and green this time of year, and almost a magical place when you combine the lush green with the tangerine coloration of the Prothonotary. Hence the title of the image – Tangerine Green. A little bit different type of image that is geared toward an in habitat look. View large for best experience.

My warbler run is almost over. I will be traveling this coming weekend to target the beautiful Chestnut-sided Warbler. Another bird that I’ve yet to see and photograph. Stay tuned for more warbler images in the days ahead, before we turn the page to shorebirds.

It is Monday and the week begins. Enjoy your day~! http://flic.kr/p/ULiXyY
